International Camps

Volleyball Development Camps can now take its training programme outside the United Kingdom, with an all-skills volleyball camp that can be conducted in partnership with International schools.

We have successfully run a pilot project to introduce developmental training methodologies at a school, which can address a wider range of ages and athletic ability than usually found at a single VbDC camp. To do so effectively it is broken down into sections, with Skills training on one court for early learners, and Performance training on another court hall for junior varsity and varsity players.

During the pilot for this project the VbDC commitment to quality training remained undiminished, and coaches from the UK and Finland – where novel and much-copied concepts for the training of entry level volleyball athletes have been created – were leading the programme and helping train school coaches on their implementation into the PE curriculum and interscholastic sports training as required.
